Pompjeesmusée an der Géitz
The National Fire Brigade Museum of the Luxembourg Fire Brigade Association opened its doors to the public on 16 May 2020. The museum was commissioned by the fire fighters’ association and built by 6 volunteer fire fighters (veterans) in Niederwiltz in the former fire fighters’ barracks. This project was financed by the fire brigade association and many sponsors. After more than 5.500 hours of work by the 6 colleagues, the history of the Luxembourg fire brigades is told today in the museum. As the museum is open all year round (every Saturday from 10h00 to 18h00), 2 members of the association “Frënn vum Pompjeesmusée” are at the visitors’ disposal and can give explanations.
We look forward to seeing you!
